I’m seeing news articles here and there saying that US congress is talking about shortening the official work week to four days. At first I was excited about it, but I’m thinking— I’m paid by the hour.
I don’t see anything in there answering this question: is this just giving businesses an excuse to get away with paying full time employees for only 32 hours of work? If so, my pay would decrease significantly and I’d probably have to get a second, part time job. I have trouble believing the fed would float an idea that actually benefited us honestly. Have any of you looked into it?
