in 3 separate occasions male colleagues who are not superiors have intimidated and treated female employee in a demeaning way. each time female employee complains to female boss she was told “don't be sensitive” “that is how men are” “this is the industry”. Female employee in good faith complains to HR about her boss always condoning the way the men treats her and minimizes her complaints. HR meets with boss the following day and on the same day retaliates against the female employee by taking away her new office. I guess my question is. Is the female employees complaint protected under the law? thanks.
