So i learnt that a colleague from another department got promoted to a level above me.
Yes I'm kinda salty about it because of the nepotism in this organisation.
Employers hiring people they like to fill in the positions who then hire other people they like as well.
It's a vicious cycle.
I like my boss & my team. It's just disappointing that because we are not the ~ favourite department ~ of the upper management even though they rely on us base on the wealth of our experience.
It disgusts me now thinking that i have been helping to check this colleague's work so far.
I'd get over it but, man.
It has always been about who you know.
