It’s not so much that I hate working, I just hate working with people

A little bit of a rant here.. For the past 4 years I’ve been working in different types of factories. I usually want 2nd shift because there’s less people/politics. I like working in factories for a few reasons (in no particular order).. 1) Usually have weekends off and most (if not all) major holidays (New years day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc.) are off and paid. 2) Pay is usually pretty decent depending on your experience level/role. 3) Benefits (Medical, Dental, vision, etc.) are pretty good and reasonably priced (the amount they take out of your check every week). 4) Usually can work a little overtime if you want/need it. 5) They usually give you vacation time/PTO So for the most part, I love it. What I don’t love? The people I work for/with. I wouldn’t have left half of the jobs I did if it wasn’t for…

5) They usually give you vacation time/PTO

So for the most part, I love it. What I don’t love? The people I work for/with. I wouldn’t have left half of the jobs I did if it wasn’t for some ass%?+! manager/supervisor taking complete advantage of their position. Or, nosy coworkers that watch you like a hawk and the second they see you do something they don’t agree with (like taking a bathroom break ONLY AN HOUR INTO THE SHIFT), they run and tell the manager/supervisor and then you’re in trouble because naturally, the work snitch, is always right and trustworthy.

I mean seriously, Do these people have literally nothing else in their lives so they have to drag everybody else down into the misery pit with them?

I really wish I could find a job where I could work by myself without the manager/coworkers breathing down my neck.
