I am not a yes man.
I hate “team building exercises” like carving a pumpkin together or signing a birthday card for the owner. I do not grovel at the feet of middle management or owner. This makes me disagreeable and ungrateful. They are humans like you and I. How I act in office is how I act outside office. I live below means and still have to work 2 jobs a full time and part time to get paid enough to save a bit for emergencies. All I want is to have enough money to open a business. My goal is to open a business because I know I wouldn’t be some horrible boss who is so in debt and over leveraged that I make others around me work long hours and days because I have to afford the office building because I don’t believe in remote work and I wouldn’t expect others to see me as The second coming of christ. Lately I have been looking into ESOP because I think with low capital this might be the way to do it. Thanks for listening to me vent.
