It’s there any reason to feel ‘guilty’ for still being paid for not being required to go to work on public holidays due to those days being set out in a contract?

Not sure how it works in other countries, but here, Easter is a long weekend – Friday to Monday – and stores are closed Friday and Sunday. Basically, if as part of your contact you work every Friday, you will still get paid for Friday because you would normally work that day, despite not working at all on Easter. So, would you, or do you, feel any guilt for still receiving payment for a day you're not even there working?
