I am 16F, almost 17, and I have applied to almost every business in town. I've never gotten a call back or any response other than “sorry, we won't hire you”. One time I submitted an application for Dollar General and as soon as I hit “submit”, I got an email saying they wouldn't hire me. Even McDonald's won't hire me as a cashier, and McDonald's hires everyone! It's not that I don't have a resumé or anything, I submit resumés and cover letters, I have references related to my experience, but I've never gotten a call back.
I'm not sure what to do at this point. My mom has been super frustrated over me not having a job, but I've been applying to jobs and none of them have shown interest in my application. She half-jokingly said she would support me if I sold feet pics online, so I'm thinking of selling some random designs I've drawn on the Internet, but I'm also afraid of her freaking out about the fact I'm even on social media. It's so gear-grinding.
