As the title says really, I saw a post like this recently where someone from mainland Europe said he couldn’t believe how you were treated in the States.
I’m from the UK and we have lots of protections written into law about howemployees can and cannot be treated. I’m disgusted about how American employers can get away with the shit that they do (even the high profile ones like Twitter). These are things that just wouldn’t happen in the UK. Being fired in the UK can be a long and drawn out process but in America it seems to be done almost on a whim.
Keep fighting for your rights and (as we say in the UK) don’t let the bastards grind you down.
