Boss keeps asking me to come in on days off. I know it’s a staffing issue, one they could fix if there was any sort of trying on their part, and I won’t give in to being a scape goat for their inability to hire and reduce work load. I have learned to block management numbers on my day off to train them to understand I am not someone willing to bend to them. When I’m there I’m there. I work hard and I crush it..I’m focused and I take on extra work that needs to get done, but on my days off I no longer exist to them.
Is this just how it is everywhere? A constant hackling by management to come in and work work work no matter what?
