i’ve applied to so many places recently to hopefully get away from my toxic low paying job. every interview i’ve went to, i was given the impression the hiring managers really liked me. however, they always say they’ll “be in touch” they seem enthusiastic, but never follow through. which leads me to be confused. i literally had a job interview a week ago, the manager said i hit the marks with every question he asked. which made me think “hopefully i’ve finally got an opportunity!!” when the interview finished, he stated he would be in touch within 24 hours through email or my phone number (he’s contacted me prior) and seemed energetic about it. i went home pretty confident since i nailed the questions. but now it is a week later and i’ve heard nothing. this has happened to me a lot recently. why post that your urgently hiring if you’re really not. it’s just frustrating.
