Sent in an email to my boss letting them know I would need a half day off in about 3 weeks as I’ve an appointment with my surgeon. Boss responds with “you can either use vacation/sick time to cover it, or make up your hours elsewhere. Choice is yours”
Umm, fuck off. Also, no. My availability is my scheduled shifts. I won’t be there for the last 4 hours of the day, schedule accordingly. Also not using vacation or sick time that’s already being accounted for as my vacation this week coming. Tired of these corporations thinking they own my fucking time. You don’t.
Edit: I don’t have sick time available and they’re trying to say I have to cancel one of my vacation days that’s already booked, or don’t go to the appointment
