Just curious. Giving up on the pretence and living in the past.

I'm not sure if this is anti-work. Lately, I've been thinking about this ALOT. The world of work and workplace interpersonal relationships have effectively been reduced to a level that frankly just makes everyone hate work. Personally, I just tolerate people, do my job and get paid. Our dress code is reasonably lax, so I wondered, what if I just started going to work (office job) dressed as a Cowboy – permanently. Having no more desire to participate in the modern way of things – I would just permanently become a cowboy – boots and all. It could fall under the Diversity and Inclusion laws as I now permanently identify as a Cowboy. Does anyone know if somebody has done something similar but weirder? Like identifying as a Roman Legionnaire and just rocked up to work day in day out , logged in their computer and just started working? I'm…

I'm talking about individuals who have “given up” [for want of a better description ] on the modern workplace and just said ..
“F##k it! I'm now Constantius Maximus”
