The first week of February, I came into contact with a covid individual. I called into my work in hopes for covid leave. Return to find out accumulated attendance points for five days.
I was half point away from termination at this.
My parents had to be dropped off at the airport for February 17, 2023. I scheduled a week in advance for request paid time off.
Last Friday, I messaged my direct supervisor, “just a reminder, I am going to take my parents to the Los Angeles airport area. My request time off was submitted on the 2/9/2023.”
I return to work on President’s Day to find out that I accumulated the final half points for termination.
Why did I get paid for the pto even though I accumulated attendance points? It doesn’t make sense at all.
I applied for unemployment. Not sure if I will get benefits for attendance :/
