Just need to rant.

Went to a job centre today, which is a government scheme where they help you with your CV or job applications if you’re unemployed, and the guy suggested a training apprenticeship. Sure, why not. Turns out i would be earning the grand pay of £4.75 (approx. $6/ hour) and at the end of it I’d have an a level (exams done at 18ish) in business. Also note that it’s in a job I’ve been doing part time for THREE YEARS, so I wouldn’t even get some good experience. Plus, it would be 37 hours a week, so I wouldn’t be able to have another job while I did it. I have a law degree. I have three a levels. What is wrong with people that he genuinely thought it would be a good suggestion for me to gain a useless qualification and make half the minimum wage (in the uk…

He’s read my CV, so what is wrong with him? Is he really that disconnected from reality? Was I supposed to be grateful? That was his big suggestion, his opening act and grand finale, and it was the least helpful one ever.
