My boss is now cutting my hours and pay because of this whole tipping issue I had brought up. So my question is, can she be keeping all Credit and Cash tips to “split amongst all employees”? Or is it illegal. I know I don’t really have a way to prove the cash but the credit tips all go through our POS system. I would like to report to DOL or the correct place, but also don’t want to be wrong if nothing is illegal about how she is handling it.
