I don't know what to do. I was told last week, that if I didn't blast my company on facebook, I would get one last check on my regular pay period as severance.
Now, I'm being told that I need to complete some tasks and essentially be at their beck and call, because now I'm being told that I'm still on the payroll until the end of next week. That throws my registering for unemployment off because I don't know if I'm even going to get that check or if I'm still technically employed.
I'm thinking of getting an attorney, but I live in an at will employment state so I don't know what I should do.
