Laid off because everything was working without issues

In Feb 2020 I got fired from a company (let's call it X) and I'm March found another one (Y). Immediately we switched to working from home and that's when I decided to try finding a second job (I work with e-commerce). A few months later X's competitor contacted me and offered the same position working on the office for 50k (not USD, average salary at the time) but I said I would only work remote and for 70k. They agreed and I easily combined 2 jobs. At first there was obviously a lot of stuff to do but in time everything was set up, polished, new website launched, so everything was working like a swiss watch. Last week they contacted me and said they want to switch me to hourly rate since there haven't been any major issues for years.

This way I'll get paid about 10k per month so I just said fuck it I'm out, good luck maintaining all the shit without me.
