I honestly don't know why I am here. I can't give a lot of details (NDA) but here are somethings I can share.
– I lost my employment due to one of the layoffs you might have heard about.
– I am a citizen in the country where I reside so no Visa issues.
– Before this job it took applying to a couple of thousand jobs to even get this one. That amount of rejections kind of gets to you. For those wondering, I am highly skilled and in a white collar industry with over 20 years of experience.
– I honestly have been trying to apply to jobs again but I can't get myself to. I want to take a vacation but I don't know what to do on the vacation itself.
– I know I need to take time and then get back on the job hunt. BUT HOW? Right now even though the days are free, there is nothing to do or let's put it this way, I can't do anything.
