So i just started a new job about 2 months ago. It’s a small business and i had to haggle to get payed 14 and hour. I have noticed that the owner is very lazy and also is incapable of organization and planning. This makes shifts very hectic and makes my mood shit. In this field Holidays are very busy and require us to work them. Christmas day/Thanksgiving. It sucks!! I have been talking to some of my coworkers and apparently the owner does not show up to work holidays and instead spends her time with her family like a normal human should. She also does not pay extra money to those that actually work (like time and a half). Should i leave this job? Maybe just say i won’t be available for the holidays? I’m just so bummed because the work is actually easy and since it’s with dogs it’s fun!
