I work with kids and my organization is a non profit. That means we're severely understaffed. Im new and im sick of management. They legit told me to expect the kids to be straight up abusive and that somedays “you just wanna punch them”. I feel sick being around these adults that say this shit. They fuckin corrected me when i described a behavior from a child as volitile(said “did you mean defiant?” And i wanted to say, no because im not trying to force my will upon these kids), or reprimanded me on my tone of voice, yet they straight up talk about violence against these kids. Ended the conversation with my boss saying “we want our staff to feel safe but this might not be the job for you”
Im sick of these adults. Yeah this might not be the job for me so im gonna do fuck all until yall let me go.
