I'm an instructional designer working on a course about career readiness for first year students and the content is great except for the first section. My boss is open to changing it but I have to have replacement content if I want to take something out. The section is very “jobs are just for money careers are for passion” and I want to keep an emphasis on life-long learning but make sure it's obvious that this is for a person's overall growth, not just advancing in a traditional career. These skills are useful for everyone even if you're not working a job that uses them or if you work to have money so you can pursue your passions in other ways.
