I live in Australia and was looking for work as an entry accountant. I saw an advertisement on Facebook for a business that said
-9am to 5pm work-hours
-10 years experience in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, processing invoices, knowledge in taxation for GST (tax of goods) and payroll tax.
-Must know how to use MYOB, Xero.
-Advanced experience in excel
-Must have a CPA
….
-$20 an hour (minimum wage in Australia).
It’s funny how many job advertisers seem to not know the value of service. There’s also a higher chance of fraud in the workplace for under paying employees.
