Hey there's a lot of details to my problem right now but the title basically describes it. Manager screamed at me, threw things in the kitchen out of anger, and also threatened to not pay me for my work. Tried reporting this to HR 4 times at the phone number my job gave me, haven't received a call back in over a month since I started.
I just got back from a trip I told them about during my interview, my job never showed me how to request time off even when I asked, then managers proceeded to get pissy with me when I needed to request it verbally once again because they scheduled me during the time I requested off months prior.
Came back from my Christmas trip, wasn't put on the schedule at the date I said I'd be back on so I called and said “hey I'm back in town, put me on the schedule”, manager calls the next day “can you come in tonight?” and I said no because I was busy, too short of notice. Week goes by and I don't get put on the schedule, another week goes by and I don't get put on the schedule.
I filed an unemployment claim, I'm going to say due to lack of work. It seems like they are trying to get me to quit because I tried to contact HR, once I requested the information from my manager word immediately got out and coworkers started gossiping about me and my issues, I literally have not been able to file any kind of incident report because of this. I cannot find a email address for HR, or my franchisee's higherups. I called a bunch of government labor type places and got directed to Fair housing and employment and the guy basically told me “This is for when you're discriminated against by race gender etc. not for general harassment, but you can try anyway here's the form”
Have I done things right here? Everything I try I run into a roadblock and idk what to do, thanks for the help.
