Yesterday my wife had a serious accident while cooking, and I took her to the hospital. Everything turned out okay, but she was crying the whole night. I didn’t want to leave her alone (I work Night Shift) and called off that night and the night after. I called my manager and my manager told me to get a doctor’s not stating that she can’t be left alone. My company has a policy that allows you to take unlimited paid time off. This is in Seattle, Washington. Am I required to provide a doctor’s note?
