I don't know if this type of post is allowed but I need to rant and see if anyone has any advice. I am a salaried employee (although when it comes to me needing a few hours off, those hours are counted against me???) And we regularly have company meetings scheduled for 7:00 AM. Our normal start time is 8. The hourly employees get paid for this time, as well as reimburses for their mileage to drive to the meeting location. I don't even get to leave early after coming in an hour early, and I don't get paid any extra. How is this legal???
Does anyone know of any loopholes?
