I've been watching this community for a few years now. You are 2.6 million people strong, and growing. You are now regularly on the front page. You're well aware of what the “top” 1% has done. If most of the people here are from America, that means you're almost 1% of the population. More importantly, you're probably most of the essential workers. I'm sure there are even more people who are or would be on board, but just don't use Reddit. You don't have to be a part of an “official” labor union that you pay dues to. What makes a strike successful is coordination. If every single person here and all of their friends went on strike at the same time, it would make a difference. Maybe it's still too soon, but if you wait too long, people will see it as just a phase you're going through. If a bunch of writers can do it, so can you. Who do you think deserves it more?
