Maybe not going to give a 2-week notice? Is there something I’m not considering?

Leaving an employer that I know was hoping I’d stick around a lot longer, but greener pastures await. If I gave a 2-week’s notice I’m thinking they’d likely fire me after 1 week because I have a previously approved (planned and paid for) vacation for week # 2. I’ll be starting the new job the day I return. My thought is to quit Monday and start my new job that day. I hate torching bridges but they don’t pay out PTO and I don’t want a heath care gap. I’m pretty sure they will be pissed I’m leaving anyway. Is there something I’m not considering? I’d hate to lose a whole paycheck, insurance for two weeks and/or forgo a long planned family vaca. I was trying to push the new job back a bit, but the clock is ticking.
