Meetings in the state of Oregon….

I work for a California based company operating in the state of oregon. My job is entirely commission based, and that is not a bad deal. Part of our pay structure includes calculating an average hourly wage that gets paid out when we are on vacation. We also have a set rate of pay for things like sick days and conferences. What we don't have is pay for mandatory office meetings. That means they can call a 3-hour meeting in the middle of a work day, and they don't have a method by which they pay us. Basically, we are required to be at work for free. My question is, does anybody know of laws and regulations in Oregon that cover the situation? I would think that the Smart Way Forward would be to follow these other presidents and either pay our average hourly wage or to come up with…
