Was informed that our department of a few people processed 70 mil worth of bills this year. Over 2,000 invoices.
They ended it saying “you ARE important!”
I bet our whole department makes less than $250k annually
How can I advocate higher wages for me and my team this year?
FYI the whole department is new and we’ve all be here less than a a few months. We all feel like we’re drowning in work.
This is an Accounts Payable role.
I KNOW they are underpaying me, they pay me significantly less than what I was getting paid as a contractor with them. They also undercut my asking Salary by $1,500 but I needed the job.
I’m fortunate to have this job but god damn I am already overworked and underpaid. I was hoping it would be different…
