In our company, we must work for 9 hours. I chose to work from 8 to 5 (a bit earlier than my usual 9) and that's ok as per company policy. Person X snitched on me then my boss called me to tell me I'm undisciplined. She was ironically working the whole day remotely from the warmth of her home in another country for the whole 3 months. I've never done that much remote work.
I just wanted to vent. I started looking for a job. Found a much better one with less working hours near my house. I quit few weeks after.
The hypocrisy made me quit. What are your takes?
