First, I’ll explain what happened before my boss started spreading rumors about me. I work in a manufacturing company in the QC Lab as a lab technician doing testing and I wanted to impress my boss so I started doing extra tasks to impress him. After that, GM came to my boss and told him that he can offer me a promotion so my boss came and talked to me and asked me what I am expecting in a promotion and things like that. One week later, I was booked in a meeting with top management in all departments and I knew this meeting was regarding my promotion. In that meeting I was basically bullied by all managers one of them said “I am impressed that you are interested in your career and working hard to develop in our company but you know this career development doesn’t help our business” and another one said “you know as an employee with two years experience, you are still young to ask about a promotion with a higher package”, etc. at the end of the meeting the GM gave me a “job offer” with 20 more tasks and a job title that doesn’t exist and the same salary I am claiming now and told me to sign it and I refused the HR manager said “we cant offer you more ,because it is difficult for us to get approvals since you are young” which I replied “I am fine with waiting for approvals, and when you get the approvals I will sign the offer”. After that meeting my boss started spreading rumors about me resigning and complaining me to top management for working with my colleagues which is weird!!! And I really don’t know what to do!! I need help 🙁
