My boss looks at my Instagram likes. Help me respond and set a boundary.

She blew up our work texting app at 9:30pm. She said: “Hey can you gals please like the posts on our pages more and a little less on the pages of people who are not part of our team. It feels really icky especially bc our team works their ass off and the people who aren’t part of our team get more praise on SM. It’s so hurtful Thanks! Rise up to meet the team. Rise up to meet the team. Value of creation is inside of our group. Devaluing our group and oneself is celebrating and chasing others who have no care for our team. If they never like or comment to you, it’s a one way relationship that says “im not comfortable where i am and want you to like me”
Make sense? “

Background:
I work in the beauty industry. I’m a manager and stylist. I have a personal account and business account. On my personal account I liked and commented on a stylists, that doesn’t work there anymore, post saying that the hair looks cool.

I do like and comment on my teams posts but I don’t like the salons posts.

She’s 49 and she cares about likes this message sounds like she’s hurt that I don’t like the salons posts. She also takes it personally when stylists leave the company so I guess it upset her more that I liked and commented on a stylist post who doesn’t work there anymore.

How do I say stop stalking my likes, it’s not that deep, it’s crossing a boundary. And it’s micromanaging MY INSTAGRAM LIKES. I support other stylists work. Even if they leave our salon I want everyone to succeed. This situation is so weird. This is a private owned salon. We aren’t a franchise so we don’t have HR.
