Hey guys, Im on my phone so apologies in advance for the formatting. Anyway I work in the service industry. Recently my boss had a opportunity to open up a second location. Mind you, we only have 4 workers, and one worker can't be alone and is part time. I felt like the second location opening was premature due to how understaffed we are, but we opened it anyway. So now I'm here, as the title suggests, scheduled to work 9 days in a row.
Although the shifts don't exceed 7 hours each day, it's still majority of my day that I'm working. I'm getting tired and burnt out, but I don't know how to communicate this with my Boss. I know loyalty isn't going to pay the bills, and I am aware that opening a second business is on their part for making that decision. But I don't want to leave 2 locations struggling as my Boss is a recent parent (literally just had a kid 2 months prior) and is also coming into work themselves. I don't have other jobs lined up as I have limited options to where I can work, and I just want to take a break before my physical health forces me to take one.
Anyone know what I can do? Should I just leave even though I feel bad for leaving 3 ppl with 2 locations?
