When I confronted them, they told me a bunch of lies, which I was able to correct on the spot.
Then they told me it was “because they are the manager and they can”.
I reported them, but nothing is being done so far. My employer knows I can’t afford to live off the hours they have given me, practically forcing me out of the company.
Now they’re getting in full size fridge/freezer that weigh 300 lbs. we’ve never sold these before, as it’s a tech store that also sells other refurbished products. I will not be lifting them. In fact, I won’t be doing anything other than my job description, which means they won’t have someone helping train anymore, they won’t have their “go to guy” for answering the questions they can’t anymore. And the next time I hear my boss say “they depend on me and I’m their most valuable employee” I will simply laugh in their faces and keep a record of it.
This company is evil.
