I have been working for some time in a company that mixes the health and IT fields.
The director of my company has a great public image but is actually a horrible human being. He spends his time disrespecting his employees. I hear a lot of rumors that he owes a lot of money because of the company. We are getting more and more threats from shady guys, probably unhappy customers but I can't prove it. I think every company faces threats, but this is the first time I've faced such violent messages. I'm really scared.
My manager isn't much better, he's always talking down to me and has very abusive words for me and my colleagues. When I see him doing his hypocrite posts on Linkedin, it makes me want to vomit. I don't know if it's because of my company director that he's like this or if he's just a hateful human being but I can't go on.
I'm sorry, this post is mainly to get all these things out of my heart but I'd also like some advice if you have any.
I am currently in France and I can resign but I am afraid that my hierarchy will destroy my chances to be recruited in another company…
Has anyone ever experienced a situation like this? Does anyone have any advice?
