My job did that thing

So first of all, they decided to adopt 5S and Kaizen principles and now they are weeding out anyone from the period pre great resignation. However they are keeping the ass kisses and making them leads/trainers and they are making sure that the supes are people who could sue for workforce violations but won’t sue due to Gen X/millenials people pleaser mindsets (people don’t want to work etc. etc.) They improved our work space only after a highly overqualified temp went off but they are making it clear that it’s time to buckle down or receive mandatory overtime for those who find issues at work. So now it’s work and starve or overwork and still starve. I’m a department head which is referred to as the water spider, so I’m like one level below lead and one level above grunt. Is it bad on me for not being willing to…

Is it bad on me for not being willing to sugarcoat the bs to recruit temps for this job? It’s one of my job opportunities not a requirement but I honestly only have this job for the benefits and the hours work well for me.
