This is a throw away account because I don’t wanna use my main. I work full time in retail (won’t say the name) and since I do cashier, I’m required to “recruit” customers to sign up for a free loyalty program which is a big part of my job. I’ll be honest and say I don’t like talking to customers but I do get some people to sign up, good right? Yea, no. When I promote our cards to customers most say no or give me an attitude because all they want is to be rung out, So at most ill get about 3-6 people to sign up. But apparently it’s not enough to them. Every time I come into work, I’m being yelled at for not signing up enough people, they even said they don’t care about what I do I just need them to sign up. I’m sick of it. Why do I have to force customers to sign up for something they don’t want? It’s worst enough I have to deal with their shitty attitude. I’m honestly mentally tired of my job and it sucks my own boss tells me even the harder I try, it’s basically still not enough!
