Posting here because I thought this was just peak corporate Bs. I work for a non profit, and I don’t have any sick days , and ironically most people in the office I interact with work with children , and no one gets sick more than… children.
I’m prone to migraines, and I plan to leave the job soon for other reasons I’ve posted before , but I asked my boss about sick days and what could be done if we were down with something contagious , or just sick in general, and she said we could work from home (I work in data and 90% of what we do can be done remotely but they just want us to come in as the job is an on-site position) , but that she doesn’t tell people this as they could take advantage… because everyone knows that if we’re sick with a fever , puking and God knows what from Covid or something else , it’s such a privilege to put in 8 hours from home instead of resting.
