My job doesn’t want to make me into a full time employee and I’m totally fine with that.

I started at my job in August as part time. For months I've asked about moving to full time (because my parents cant stop badgering me) and I've been getting the runaround. I've talked to other part time staff and they've all said the same thing. “Good luck with that!” The most they've given a long time PT employee is 38 hours. She's there constantly and works her ass off. It really put things into perspective and made me understand to just stop asking. Truthfully I don't even want full time hours here. (I don't want full time hours anywhere but I definitely cant make livable wages part time where im at now.) “No one wants to work” is the biggest crock of shit I've ever heard.
