Anyway, I work for corporate and I do a lot of investigation work dealing with incidents in and outside the company. Management recently got onto to us about quality and while I understand the importance, they don’t understand that the processes they write are not good. Me and other individuals have voiced concerns that if quality is to improve then management needs to take our feedback and make the changes necessary to improve our processes. I don’t understand how you can expect your employees to get better if you’re not providing them with updated information and better processes. Not to mention that if we don’t do good on quality, it has the ability to affect our employment. It’s like a teacher telling their class to take a test and if they fail, they fail the class yet the teacher didn’t provide them with the necessary information before the test. So the students (we) are destined to do poorly.
I’ve tried hard to get out and find employment elsewhere and have had no luck. I’ve tried for months… and am still here. Now I’m not in a good financial position to switch jobs.
I feel trapped. I try my best, but my best isn’t enough. I’m not stupid or incompetent. Management does not listen or care.
This corporate job is going to make me kill myself.
