I work for a small tech startup and it has been toxic from the beginning.
Egotistical, power tripping managers. Crazy sales people who get away with stalking me online and constantly making covert threats against my job security. Randomly firing the highest producing salesman because he disagreed with them.
Today I got talked down on when delivering a project I’ve been working on for awhile. Made me lose the little motivation I had left. Want to leave, but need it for visa purposes (it’s the only way I can legally live in this country).
So, I’ve been spending half of my work hours starting my own company and plan to transition out. However, afraid I won’t be able to last that long. The abuse, belittling and dismissive ness are killing my spirit.
What to do?
