My job wants to terminate my employment after asking them to honor a signed contract

This my first post in this subreddit so I hope I’m not doing this wrong. I signed a contract for my company stating for every year of schooling or training that I completed I would receive 5000 dollars. The parameters were that I completed my schooling and that I work at least 25 hours a week while maintaining a b average gpa. I have maintained all of those parameters and when I asked For the second half I was ghosted. I let my manager know that if the company doesn’t intend to honor their end of the contract I would start looking for other places of employment. Well he told me a week later that I wouldn’t get that check due to me not staying past my scheduled shift to complete a job a few months ago and that he took me saying what I said as a resignation. He told me he doesn’t want me working if I wasn’t in the right headspace. I have another meeting with the area manager tomorrow but I honestly don’t know what to do. I am a 21 year old who can’t afford a lawyer. Do I have any options here?
