Does anyone have any insight on this kind of predicament? He's quite dissatisfied with the work-life-compensation balance and has gone on one interview elsewhere. today he told his employer this so that they have time to come up with a counteroffer, but he's also nervous that they'll let him go out of spite. as many companies these days, he's one of two employees doing the actual work, and the other employee is moving away in a few months, but my bf is unsure whether his employer knows that. should both my bf and this other employee leave, this business will fail, and logically, we all hope they know that, but 🤷️
