My retirement plan

After researching retirement and experiencing the insane amount of anxiety that comes with trying to plan and sacrifice for 40+ years, I've decided that I'm just going to try and stay healthy and work until I die. I feel like that sounds a lot more pessimistic than the reality, which is enjoying my life while I'm not plagued by the ailments of old age instead of working a job I hate, living for the weekends and living super frugally in the hopes that I'm able to enjoy my savings/investment when I'm 70. I might save for retirement if I somehow land a high paying job but I'm really not counting on it.
