Need help finding work – getting desperate

Hi friends, I am majorly struggling to find work in my area. I have applied to over 100 places in the last two months and have got maybe five interviews. All of which decided to go with other candidates, obviously. I would love to work in admin but it seems that everywhere is looking for two or more years of experience. I understand why from a business standpoint, but admin work is as easy as answering phones and writing emails. I enjoy the work, but my last workplace had me doing clinical work as well when we would fall short on staff (ya know, because they're being overworked in order to pull a better bottom line). I used to do the clinical side of my job, but I'm much more comfortable and a lot happier doing admin work. Where I worked wasn't sustainable so I'm trying to find work elsewhere,…

Where I worked wasn't sustainable so I'm trying to find work elsewhere, but since I have ~9 mos experience in admin, no one sees my skills, they just see that I'm “job-hopping”.

I wanted to get my resume fixed up, but all of those services are way too expensive too. Any advice? I'm losing hope.
