I’m currently trying to organize a union for my workplace (a movie theater). I did my research, have gotten enough positive feedback from my team, and am planning on calling our region’s labor board office tomorrow.
What I want to know is your thoughts/advice on how to go about this. I live in an at-will employment state for reference. I talked to my republican parents about this, and they kind of freaked out on me. Now I’m feeling nervous about it all when I was feeling so hopeful. Please give me your honest opinions on whether I should go through with this and things I should know that research can’t tell me.
