I am fine pumping the hours but my role starts and ends at an allocated time. Only, the role kinda pushes me into budgeting for unpaid overtime, which can be paid but by annual leave. The unpaid OT is not recommended but to do the job without a stress crunch, it almost forces me to allocate time outside hours.
I've begun taking the stance that I'm not responsible for what I cannot complete within work hours but that's making my work look bad and letting down the customers relying on me.
