Hello, I hope everyone is having a good day. Im wondering if im legally entitled to PTO and if so, how to proceed with my employer.
The business and I are physically in NY but the owner is in Michigan. I just got hired about w month ago. There are about 10 employees at the facility in NY. Am i entitled to some PTO (or will i be after 60 or 90 days)? I know a couple years ago NY passed something that gave even part time workers a mandatory 56 hours of paid sick time at large companies.
If i do get PTO how should i go about pointing this out to my employers? Thank you
