Background: I live in Nevada. About a month ago, I got a new job with an agreed upon take-home wage of $1,000 per week (net).
I just wrapped up four weeks and thought things were going well. But just yesterday, I got called in for a meeting where my supervisor handed me the document I posted. I was shocked, because they want me to sign this thing agreeing to practically halve my salary, and prior to this, they had given me absolutely no indication (verbal or written) that I wasn’t performing to their standards.
I’ve worked some crappy jobs in the past, but I’ve NEVER been presented with something like this. Has anyone dealt with something similar, and if so, what did you do?
