I was suppose to sign a perm/full-time contract with a company where I was working as a temp for the past 8 months. My boss liked me, and offered to hire me on a full-time contract basis, where I could get the full benefits of a full-time worker. My girlfriend works in HR.
A week later, a new HR Head comes in. Another week later, my boss asks to talk to me, and said that i could not join anymore, as there was a conflict of interest. The new HR head apparently was not okay with this, and even told my girlfriend not to tell me about it. I recently rejected another job offer as I thought that I had the job already. My girlfriend feels very bad for me as well, and I honestly don’t know what to do. Sorry, had to rant somewhere. Feeling down
